| GBC Given All Clear To Start Collection Of TV License Fee By Accra High Court Posted: 10 Aug 2015 07:02 AM PDT  TV-licensing An Accra Fast Track High Court has paved the way for the commencement of the collection of the TV license fee by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, after throwing out a suit of interlocutory injunction brought against them. The court, presided over by Justice RR Batu, ruled that the national broadcaster can commence collection of the license. | Former New York Giant Star, Frank Gifford Dies At Age 84 Posted: 10 Aug 2015 04:11 AM PDT  Frank Gifford Frank Gifford, the former New York Giants star and veteran sports journalist, kicked the bucket Sunday at his home in Connecticut. He was 84. NBC News affirmed Gifford’s demise in an announcement; "It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and friend, Frank Gifford. Frank died suddenly this beautiful Sunday morning of natural causes at his Connecticut home. We rejoice in the extraordinary life he was privileged to live, and we feel grateful and blessed to have been loved by such an amazing human being.
