| | A gunman at a movie theater in the suburban Antioch area is dead, less than an hour after the attack was reported, authorities said Wednesday. The Nashville Police Department tweeted: "Active shooter situation @ Hickory 8 Theater -- suspect dead." There was no information on whether other persons were injured. The shooting was reported at 1:13 p.m. CT at the Carmike Hickory 8 theaters at 901 Bell Road, according to dispatchers and address records, the "Nashville Tennessean" reported.
