Posted: 30 Mar 2015 06:40 AM PDT As Nigerians await for the declaration of the winner of the 2015 presidential election, the United States and Britain have expressed concerned about rigging in the counting of the votes, reports BBC Africa. This comes at a time some Nigerians are worried that the incumbent government would influence the results—and there is speculation of the results of certain areas having been altered. BBC Africa wrote on its facebook: "Britain and the United States have expressed concern about rigging in the counting of votes after Nigeria’s elections. In a joint statement, they said they had seen disturbing indications that there has been political interference with the collation process. The BBC Africa correspondent says the mood in the capital Abuja is jittery. Most observer missions had praised Saturday’s vote. The election commission says there will be a strong indication of who has won the presidential election by the end of today and that the final result should be announced on Tuesday" © GC Staff for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2015. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |

Pregnant Woman Stabs Husband to Death Over Arguments About Who Will Win Nigeria’s Election Posted: 30 Mar 2015 04:53 AM PDT Votes are still being counted in Nigeria and the citizens are anxious as to who would become the next president—this reportedly led to a debate between a husband and wife over the weekend. In arguing about whether Muhammadu Buhari or President Goodluck Jonathan would take the highest political seat in the country, the woman stabbed her husband, killing him. According to Nigeria's Vanguard, the incident took place around Ejigbo area of Lagos. An account says, "the couple were said to have divergent views about the 2015 elections. The wife is said to be an APC supporter, while her husband was a PDP supporter. They got into a heated argument about which of the two candidates would win, and it reportedly escalated into a physical battle, in the course of which Mary allegedly stabbed her husband in the chest with a kitchen knife." Though tragic, this shows how intolerant some couples can be to each other on issues such as politics, which some would consider as not so important, © sheila for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2015. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |

See How This UK Bishop Announced His Wife’s Infidelity To His Parish | In Their Newsletter Posted: 30 Mar 2015 04:14 AM PDT They often tell us 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'. The truth is when it comes down to it men are really no different; and a man smarting from rejection is as prone to lashing out just as much as any woman. Mail Online tells the story of 54 year old James Wilson, churchwarden of St Bartholomew's church in Westhoughton. A lay bishop and editor of the parish newsletter, he took advantage of his position to pen an exposé on his wife's extracurricular activities and put it in the newsletters latest edition. 'Heartless Story' was the title he gave to the piece. He began by telling his parishioners what his 'wife of 20 years' had done.(...) © Yaa for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2015. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |
