I am thinking about starting a series of posts on this blog to highlight natural areas and parks in Portland and metro area that share something in common, such as Where to go: for stroller-friendly trails and Where to go: for natural areas next to playgrounds.

As a reader, tell me: What sort of park characteristics would you find it useful for me to highlight in a post? I would highlight probably 5-7 places in each post.
