| Lawmakers have decided on the details of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2014. Leaders of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees have agreed on the terms of the bill that will fund the US military next year. The bill would authorize 552 billion dollars in national defense spending and nearly 81 billion for overseas contingency operations.
