| An artist in London has created a solution to England's omnipresent security cameras. James Bridle based the design of his wearable "surveillance spaulder" on the medieval spaulder, a plate armor used to protect the wearer from unexpected and unforeseen blows from above. The surveillance spaulder alerts its wearer to cameras in its vicinity by detecting the infrared lighting employed by the cameras. Then the device sends an electric signal to two nerve-stimulation pads that makes the wearer's shoulder jolt. RT's Ameera David takes a look at how Bridle is bringing the Middle Ages into the future.
