Sony unveils the next generation PlayStation in a bid to propel itself back to the top of the videogame hardware industry.
Full Story: On Wednesday, Sony unveiled the new PlayStation 4 in a flashy New York City event. The latest Playstation promises users the ability to stream and play server hosted games.
Sony hopes the move will propel it back to top of the video game hardware industry against its top competitors: Microsoft's XBox and Nintendo's Wii.

Sony said the console will be available for the holiday 2013 season. However, they did not reveal the price or actual console yet.
Lead system architect Mark Cerny described the development of the new console and a new controller, the "Dualshock 4," which features a touchpad.
