| 20,000 pounds of illegal fireworks went up in smoke when the Midland, Texas police bomb squad detonated the 10 tons of explosives simultaneously. Seized by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the stockpile of fireworks was collected in the timespan of just three and a half days.
