Security camera footage captures the arrest in Turkey of three British youths suspected of planning to join Islamic State. Full Story: Surveillance cameras record the moment three British teenagers suspected of planning to join Islamic State arrive at an airport in Turkey. The passports of the 19-year-old and two 17-year-olds are checked. They were detained at the airport in Istanbul after tip-off from British police. The teenagers, who've not been named, were arrested in London after Turkey deported them. Officers in London said they learned on Friday of the disappearance of two 17-year-olds thought to be travelling to Syria. They said further inquiries revealed they'd travelled with the older youth. Security services estimate some 600 Britons have gone to Syria or Iraq to join militant groups. They include three London schoolgirls believed to have joined IS in Syria last month, also after travelling through Turkey. For more news and videos visit ☛ http://ntd.tv Follow us... ( More) |
