We published some behind the scene photos of the making of MzVee’s latest video-My Time—and today, the actual video is here for the fans to watch…

The video which features Lil Shaker starts with a hovering helicopter, which takes MzVee on a little fly—before she jumps out to go hard.

The quality isn’t bad but Lynx Entertainment could definitely have done far better than this.

Ghanaian Pastor Jailed for 5 Years in UK After He Forgot His Name At Heathrow Airport

Posted: 19 Mar 2015 05:01 AM PDT

Samuel Akoto

Samuel Akoto

You do not need to be smart to become a pastor—and even the dumbest can be good at requesting money from people in the name of God. This story teaches on a lot but it also illustrates that, most of these men of God are never what they claim to be—and it’s good the law does not care either you are a pastor or a bishop.

A Ghanaian pastor who walks about with 3 names-Samuel Akoto, David Antwi and David Krumah and used to reside at Jeremy Street, Edmonton in North London was sentenced to 5 years early this month for identity fraud at the Isleworth Crown Court .

Until his conviction, he was the sole pastor of Mount Zion Prayer House Ministries (UK) with registered charity number 1153088. He was known to his congregation as Pastor David Kwaku Antwi and he introduced himself as such on local radio station (Sources radio) where he preaches to the Ghanaian community.(...)

Here Is The List Of The 7 Richest Black Pastors In The World

Posted: 19 Mar 2015 04:27 AM PDT

T.B. Joshua

T.B. Joshua

You cannot deny the power of the modern church to influence their congregants, and the biggest gripe non-religious people often have with religion is its ability to exploit whilst retaining a smug sense of moral superiority.

Most of the pastors on this list have been embroiled in bitter controversy in the past, displaying traits unbecoming a man of God, yet they retain their power because people place them on a certain pedestal and they continue to grow rich off the spoils.

Controversial US site MediaTakeOut has made a list of the 7 richest black preachers in the world, and to no one's surprise it's made up largely of Nigerians. From top to down, we have pastors embroiled in controversy; whether it is private jet related, or disaster at their churches due to poor planning.

But the money just keeps flowing in…

Hit the jump to see the list of the world's richest black pastors.

7. T.B Joshua

Joshua is the head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), and is the first of many Nigerian preachers on the list. Joshua's SCOAN is one of the most controversial churches in Africa, with the preacher's Emmanuel TV representing a powerful media tool to gain followers.

SCOAN was embroiled in scandal last year when a building at their main auditorium in Lagos collapsed, killing over 100 people. Preliminary investigations point to shoddy work being the cause, but Joshua and his people maintain it was an attack from outsiders.

Joshua is believed to be worth about $10m.

6. Matthew Ashimolowo

Matthew Ashimolowo heads the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC). Based in London, Ashimolowo has branched out his church to most other parts of the world.

He is worth in excess of $20m.

Nadia Buari and President Mahama

Nadia Buari and President Mahama

GhanaCelebrities.Com has received several emails in the last 48 hours from readers looking to confirm a story they’ve read online—which stated that, Nadia Buari has confirmed in an interview the father of her twins is the President of Ghana-John Dramani Mahama.

Of course this is a lie and apart from the fact that Nadia Buari has not granted such interview, the hoax was started by one of those ‘non serious’ websites—and some how, it caught fire.

The initial story was to highlight how Ghanaians attribute everything to President Mahama—blaming him even when they fail to win the lottery. But it seems some people genuinely considered the story to be true.(...)

FROM The ARCHIVES: Which Ghanaian Celebrity Rocked the Short Hair? | Jackie Appiah, Sandra Ankobiah, Yvonne Nelson, Shirley Frimpong Manso & Others

Sandra Ankobiah

Our Ghanaian Celebrities mostly go for the long weaves/wigs—some even go as far as opting for the floor sweeping ones but we’ve not seen much of these in recent times because the cost of weaves have shot up.

Not everyone has the face for short styled weaves/wigs but we are told the long weaves seem to work for whatever face, which explains why we see more of those and less of the former.

Going through our archives, we’ve managed to pull out some photos of some of your favourite celebrities’ attempt at rocking the short styled weaves/wigs—and though some got it right, others don’t need to try it again; EVER.(...)
