| Posted: 16 Mar 2015 06:15 AM PDT  Kwesi Kyei Darkwah In case you never knew, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD, who was arrested on 27th December, 2014 due to a rape allegation leveled against him by a 19 year old girl, Ewuraffe Orleans Effe, is an ADJUDICATOR on the BET Awards in America. KKD is the only Ghanaian contracted from Ghana to be on the BET Award's adjudicator board. As an adjudicator on the board, he gives inputs when it comes to the selection, screening and nomination of African artists into the award scheme. KKD has been on the BET Award right from the days Kojo Antwi, the first Ghanaian artist to have gotten a BET Award nomination, scored a nomination in 2010 – followed by D-Black in 2011, Sarkodie in 2012 (won it with Whiz Kid), R2Bees in 2013, and Sarkodie again in 2014. His presence on the board is a pride not only to himself, family and friends, but Ghana as a country. Indeed, he is one of the adjudicators on the board who has been fighting for African acts/ winners who are given their awards/statutes off stage, be given on the stage. Unfortunately, we woke up on 28th Dec, 2014 only to be banged in the face with the ball over – KKD The Finest, has been arrested a day before in connection with a rape allegation. Donning a beautiful black gown, the 44-year-old mother of twins performance at the event was to raise awareness against gays and lesbians human right abuse. Sadly we can’t say anything positive about her performance of signature track ‘Hero’. It was a very poor performance from the 5-time grammy winner. | Posted: 16 Mar 2015 05:42 AM PDT  Jesus Christ The back and forth between Mzbel and the rest of Ghana regarding her comments on Jesus Christ has gained significant prominence with every Tom, Dick, and Harry having very strong opinions on the matter. It has devolved into personal insults between Mzbel and Stacy and her husband, the architects behind 'Restoration with Stacy' the show that initially broadcast Mzbel's comments. So the whole brouhaha surrounding the Jesus story means we should go back to the source of the stories themselves, The Christian Bible, and try to find out how much credence the whole story carries. Jesus story is told primary in the gospels, the first four books of the new testament- Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Now the whole beef is whether Jesus was real or an imaginary character, a fraud whose story was cobbled together from earlier god-like figures. There is enough evidence to suggest this, but to the Christian that is insufficient, so we turn to the bible to settle the whole thing. Now the Bible is supposed to be God's word, handed down to men through the holy spirit- or something like that. We should agree then that God's word should be pretty much infallible, but what we find in the bible are glaring contradictions and omissions that throw its credence into doubt. The four gospels are not exempt from this, and by the end of this piece it would be apparent that even the word of God cannot agree on very important aspects of the Jesus story. It is therefore highly likely that the Jesus story is fake as Mzbel surmises; or he lived but had his legend over bloated with old historical features of other gods. Let's look at the biggest contradictions in the Jesus story, courtesy of the very helpful folks at infidels.org Where Did Joseph And His Wife Reside? There is no doubt in the gospels that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in Judea. All the gospel writers mention it, Matthew claims it is in fulfilment of prophecy, a prophecy he misquotes (Micah 5:2 vs Matthew 2:6), but that's another argument. Luke says Joseph and Mary where living in Nazareth, and had to return to Bethlehem for a census, that led to Jesus being born there (Luke 2:4). Matthew says they lived in Bethlehem, then moved to Nazareth after Jesus was born, because they were afraid of Herod and his descendants looking for the saviour to kill. (Matthew 2:21-23) So Mary and Joseph (and Jesus), lived in Bethlehem and Nazareth. But Matthew and Luke mix up the times, this seems a little unseemly for a holy book inspired by God. | Nick Cannon Finally Cleans Out Mariah Carey With Another | See Photos… Posted: 15 Mar 2015 11:31 AM PDT  Nick Cannon Nick Cannon, ex-husband of Mariah Carey has not only totally cleaned out the singer from his mind—he has also cleared her from his body by replacing the famous Mariah tattoo on his back with something HUGE. Nick has been working on the cleaning for sometimes but we didn’t know he was going for something this large, to totally erase the Mariah memory. The new tat features a cherub on each side of the cross (representing his kids). And the text below reads, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
