From BeyondGossip.Com

Angelina Jolie is in the news today, and it is not for her role in any new movie, or her work with victims of sex trafficking; Jolie is in the news due to a video of her taken just moments after she was believed to have snuffed some heroin.

Franklin Meyer, self proclaimed drug procurer for Angelina in the past, released the video which was taken sometime during the late 90's of Jolie in her apartment minutes after taking delivery of a package from Mr Meyer and apparently snuffing it.

The video shows her in her apartment, looking dishevelled and haggard, talking on the phone to a person believed to be her father, Jon Voight.

Angelina Jolie has in the past often described that period of her life as 'dark and dangerous' and she considers herself lucky to have survived through that.

Mr Meyer said he received a call from Jolie, asking him to come visit her, which was how she got him to bring the stuff to her place.

"Angie was a client of mine for several years. I sold her heroin and cocaine. One day she called me up and wanted me to drop by her place; that was her way of telling me she wanted me to bring her drugs"(...)

Must Listen to Audio: Castro Got Drowned Because of His Evil Ways – Prophet Samuel Bafo Declares

Posted: 09 Jul 2014 05:52 AM PDT

Castro de destroyer

Castro de destroyer

As the search for Hiplife musician Castro De Destroyer and his alleged girlfriend – Janet Bandu – continues, lot of theories are popping up. Several spiritualists are attributing the misfortune to 'Maame Water' (Marine god). Listening to these many theories that have come up within this few days, it is becoming very difficult for a person to choose which of these theories to believe.

Some are of the view that Castro De Destroyer and Janet Bandu are no more among the living; whilst others believe the two individuals are still alive.

The newest person to join the talk of town is Prophet Samuel Bafo, a radio prophet on Channel R. According to the man of God, the musician got drowned because of his bad or evil ways.

"Maame Water (marine god) and the sea have done nothing wrong. This is truly spiritual. I'm showing you where he has gone for Ghanaians to know the truth in this. This is a spiritual contract. It is a spiritual man who is holding the thing. We are sending a physical person to go and plead with the spiritual man to release them. As at now, the boy is not dead. They want to make him like Tupac", Prophet Samuel Bafo added.

He made it known that after they are back from the mission; Ghanaians will get to know the truth about the whole matter. He urged all those embarking on the search at Ada to leave the place and return to Accra because there is nothing in Ada where they are conducting the search. As he reveals, we all should take our mind off Ada because the issue is right here in Accra.(...)

President OBAMA Came to Ghana and Advised ‘Africa Doesn’t Need Strong Men, It Needs Strong Institutions’ – After Some Years, I Totally DISAGREE

President Obama in Ghana

President Obama in Ghana

"Africa doesn't need Strong Men, it needs Strong Institutions" is a statement passed by current President of America, Barrack Obama, to Ghana's Parliament, when he visited Ghana on the 11th July, 2009.

Since the time Obama made those remarks, till date, every social commentator, politician, political analysts or lecturers, social feature columnists in some print media, Economists, and other people in academia, ALWAYS quote Obama and say the latter's advice, is what Africa actually need.

I've pondered over what Obama said all these years and after doing so, I totally disagree with his avouchment. Indeed, what he said makes less sense to me because, I feel the converse of what he said, is rather true or should rather be the case.

Point is, human beings create systems and not the other way round – so if human beings, or men, are not strong, they can't make strong institutions. This is common sense! I have not had any duologue with Obama to explain to me what he actually meant nor have I had the privilege to read the actual speech he read when he came to Ghana.

But, 'strong' as Obama used, was or is not about machismo, physiques, or brons, but brains! I strongly believe Obama actually meant, once we have strong institutions – as in, institutions that are: effective, efficient, transparent, corruption-free, accountable, and have general positive orientation, most of the social-economic problems in Ghana, Africa for that matter, can highly be overcome. That is 100% true!(...)

Razz Newspaper

It was established last week that, the 2013 winner of Miss Ghana- Guisseppina Baafi has resigned, though organizers of the pageant-Exclusive Events Ghana tried saying, the winner was sacked or stripped off because of misconduct.

GhanaCelebrities.Com has been told a lot since then, and as we reported some few days ago, some of the reasons which led to Guisseppina Baafi's resignation are shocking—which will soon come to light.

Razz Newspaper which comes out every Wednesday in Ghana has been digging into the Miss Ghana issue too—and they've reported on what they have found so far.

Read below for the full Report from Razz Newspaper…

The longest-running beauty pageantry in Ghana, 'Miss Ghana' has seen turmoil over the years under different event organizing firms; from Mediawhizz Kidz to Sparrow Productions. Many had high hopes that the usual uproar that has characterized the pageant over the period would cease after the takeover by Exclusive Events headed by Inna Patty, a former winner – but that hope is short-lived.

The 'Miss Ghana' pageant has been thrown into a state of confusion after the organizers released a statement stripping the winner, Guisseppina Baafi off her title and all other privileges.

After thorough investigations into the impasse by Razz Newspaper, it was uncovered that the 2013 winner, Miss Baafi and the organizers have had disagreements for the past months. Investigations prove that the organizers presented the winner with a contract and wanted her to sign but after reading through it, Miss Baafi refused to append her signature to the deal. She requested to show the contract to her lawyer for guidance, a request which was flatly rejected by the organizers.

Her refusal to sign whatever contract prompted the organizers to take away some major prizes she won at the pageant including the car and the house a month ago, way before the organizers released a statement stripping her off her crown.(...)
