| MUST LISTEN to Audio: ‘Castro De Destroyer is Not DEAD’-He Has Gone To Visit His ‘Maame Water Wife’ Posted: 07 Jul 2014 06:19 AM PDT Wonders shall never end in this great country we call Ghana. Following news that Hiplife musician Castro is feared dead, a self proclaimed spiritualist Dzifah Awagah has claimed that the musician is not dead, but that he has been carried away by his Maame Water wife for her own reasons. According to this woman, Ghanaians should stop grieving, as Castro is not dead yet and that the more we grieve, the more likely that he would not return from his sojourn to the marine lands. Dzifah was speaking to Peace Fm in Accra when she made her grandiose claims. Giving more details, Dzifah claimed that issues like this are normal, and that there is nothing extraordinary regarding this case. She said people from the marine world immerse themselves in our world all the time, and that she herself is one of those people, who entered this world by entering a pregnant woman's womb to be born through the normal route. The spiritualist made more claims; according to her if you seek her out, she could call either Castro or Janet Bandu, for whoever was interested to have a chat with them, from their underwater base…(...) © GC Staff for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2014. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |
| Where Do We Go When We Die? Your Understanding & What You’ve Been Told Posted: 07 Jul 2014 05:20 AM PDT
As we mourn one of Ghana's talented musician-Castro De Destroyer who fell yesterday, I've been doing a lot of thinking—and have had several conversations with people in relation to; where do we go when we die… Interestingly, a lot of people have different views about what happens when a person dies—mostly these views are influenced by their religious background or beliefs. Those who believe in God hold a different view as to what happens after death—and those who believe in Allah or other Gods have theirs too. Personally, I do not believe you go anywhere when you die—life ends. The chicken and the goat are all perceived to have lives, when they die—they don't go anywhere. And without any evidence or strong indication that the situation is different for first class animals like man, I believe when you die, you do not go any where… That is what I believe—what about you? What do you know, what have you been told or what have you heard? Let's get talking… © Chris-Vincent A. | #BringBackOurGirls: 63 Women and Girls Escape Boko Haram Posted: 07 Jul 2014 04:48 AM PDT Some good news from afar, amidst all these gloom about Castro's demise in Ghana. 63 out of 68 women and girls captured last month by Boko Haram are reported to have escaped from the clutches of the Islamist Militant group. Boko Haram caused a stir in April when they captured over 200 girls who have still not been found to this day. The group also captured 68 more last month near Damboa, a town in Borno State; and it is from this second group of captives that the women and girls are said to have escaped. Five women however, have still not been found. The captives took the initiative to escape when the Boko Haram members went out to carry out a tactical operation. They however found themselves in trouble, as the Nigerian Military forces taking them on routed them and the group was forced to mobilise all its members and flee the battle. The captives then realised that they were alone, took the initiative and escaped the camp. This is good news to warm the heart, made even better by the announcement of Nigerian forces they killed over fifty rebels in the clash that led to the escape of the girls. These Boko Haram animals have been terrorising their country for too long, and this recent trend of focusing on capturing women and children, particularly girls is a worrying one.(...) © Posted By: Regina Sackey Addo for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2014. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |

"What? Change my religion? Not me. My family has gone to the same church and has been in this same religion for generations. If it was good enough for them, then it is also good enough for me. I'm perfectly satisfied with my religion." Does the above reasoning sound familiar to you? This sort of statement pops up when you try to convince a person to make a switch, from one religion to another or from one church to the other. Do you personally believe that it would be wrong for an individual to change from one religion to another? To a vast majority of people, the answer to this question is a big YES. In fact, some feel that it would be a sin against God, Allah, or whoever they worship. Not only will they sin against the Supreme Being that they give devotion to, but they will suffer a condemnation from their parents if they were to change from their religion that they were born into. Lots of people are highly afraid to change religions because of the respect they might lose from people of the same religious body or church. Changing religions here does not only refer to moving from being a Muslim to a Christian, Christian to a Buddhist, and so on. It captures changing the affiliation from one group to another. So for example, in Christianity, one can change from a particular church to another; say from being a Catholic to become a Presbyterian and so forth. What happen most often is that people are not too confident, brave, or bold enough to cease affiliating with a particular religion or church to join another one which they think might be the right one… They might be so engrossed in losing self respect than gaining salvation. Mostly, such ones will be members of a particular religion or church but might find it very difficult to adhere to the doctrines of the religion or church. Today, about one third of the earth's population claims to be Christian. Does this mean that if you belong to one of the hundreds of churches under Christianity, your church is the acceptable one, and you must therefore stick to it like a super glue? Do not forget that, the near thousand denominations under Christianity all have different doctrines and teachings.(...) © GC Staff for Ghanacelebrities.com, 2014. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Feed enhanced by Better Feed from Ozh |
