Another reason why faith (believing without evidence) can be a dangerous enterprise—sometimes…This man claims God told him to stab his mother and he believed it by doing exactly that.

According to CBS 5 AZ;

A man who stabbed his mother to death Friday evening told authorities that God had told him to do it. Authorities in Pinal County say 65-year-old Ronna Thomas died and her 63-year-old sister was injured after Thomas' son, 38-year-old Joseph Cecil, attacked both women with a knife.

Pinal County Sheriff spokesman Tim Gaffney said Cecil only stopped his brutal attack when a neighbor intervened, hitting Cecil with a shovel to subdue him. Gaffney said sheriff deputies arrived at the 1800 block of west Camino Grande at about 6 p.m. to find a blood-covered woman in the front yard and Cecil lying on the ground with a man standing over him with a shovel.

Inside the home, deputies found Thomas with multiple stab wounds, said Gaffney. Gaffney said Thomas was taken to Casa Grande Regional Medical Center, where she later died.

Her 63-year-old sister was taken by air ambulance to a Phoenix area hospital, where she is in stable condition, said Gaffney. Sheriff Paul Babeu stated, "Had it not been for the intervention of the neighbor who stopped the attack, we would have undoubtedly had another homicide victim."

Babeu added, "When homicide detectives asked Joseph Cecil why he stabbed the two victims, he told them, 'God told me to do it.'" Cecil was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.

PHOTOS + John Dumelo Donates Dchool Supplies To Underprivileged Children In Cameroon

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has donated school supplies including pencils, exercise books and erasers to over 100 pupils of the St. John Of God Catholic School in Cameroon as part of his John Dumelo Foundation’s outreach to help the poor and the needy.

This is the second country outside Ghana that the actor and entrepreneur has expanded operations to. He has also been in Sierra Leone, where he gave out similar donations about 3 months ago. In Ghana, he has donated to schools in rural areas including the North, Eastern, Western And Central Regions.

John Dumelo is reported to have said; "I also started the John Dumelo Scholarship Scheme for university students starting with the University of Ghana last year. Hopefully more students will be included in this scheme in the coming academic years."

It feels great to see John Dumelo still doing his best to help others…

Jim Iyke is taking his new Holy Ghost status very seriously.

Although he insists he wasn't delivered of witchcraft, he accepts that he has experienced a truly higher level of living and has started signing of tweets with 'Bless you'

This means we will probably not be hearing of any bad deeds from his end any more be it duping people of cash or emotions. Lol!

I am solidly behind him chanting halleluiah!

He and his lady love Nadia are planning to tie the knot in December according to popular gossip.

The star, who was delivered recently at the Synagogue Church of All Nations by Prophet TB Joshua, has been rumoured to be relieved of all demons that were stopping him from marrying his exes and so he is off his days of playing the fool and is very ready to man up to the task of being a husband.

If the wedding holds, the two would have made an interesting impact as the main celebrity power couple of our time.

I can already picture Nadia in a gorgeous wedding gown. In fact, she needs to put me on her bridal train so we can plan a breath-taking, world class befitting celebrity wedding. I hope Jim does not embarrass Nadia by going back to his legendary bad boy ways.

I think his exes should have taken him to a prophet for deliverance a long time ago. There wouldn't be so many women broken hearted right now. Leader among whom we know is Jim's most recent ex , Jamaican model Keturah Hamilton.

Is Jim merely acting a mental script or is he on a truly honest trip this time around for real? We are all sticking around for this journey.

All the same, GhanaCelebrities.Com wishes the couple a happy marriage in advance—that is if it will ever happen!
