French movie icon Brigitte Bardot has praised President Putin for doing more to protect animals than all French presidents put together. Bardot is a well known animal rights defender and is threatening to quit her country and ask for Russian citizenship, if authorities in Lyon follow through with their plan to put down two sick elephants.
