| The Food and Drug Administration announced a plan last week to phase antibiotics out of animal feed, citing growing public health concerns. Experts say humans are consuming too many antibiotics, leading to an increase in antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that every year 2 million people get sick from drug-resistant superbugs, and 22,000 of those people die.
