BREAKING: Reports: Oklahoma executes inmate with controversial drug, first since botched execution

  Charles Warner, 47, who was convicted in the murder and rape of an 11-month-old girl in 1997, is the first Oklahoma inmate to be put to death since April, when the botched lethal injection of Clayton Lockett caused him to struggle, groan and writhe in pain for 43 minutes. Earlier Thursday, a sharply divided Supreme Court declined to issue a stay in the case.
